Description

The spine is a highly detailed and delicately balanced transmission and relay center for everything that is physical as well as energetic. It manages most all data to and from the physical body and its systems to the brain, being responsible for most of our ability to operate at our highest level of efficiency within and through the body as a whole. You will also find that it acts as a stable point for the energetics of the Spirit and all of its matrices.

A dictionary definition of the spine is:

  2. Any backbone like part.
  3. A stiff, pointed process or appendage on an animal, as a quill of a porcupine, or a sharp, bony ray in the fin of a fish.
  4. Something, as a quality or a trait, that constitutes a principal strength; resolution: stamina; backbone: a situation that would test a person’s spine.
  5. A ridge, as of ground or rock.
  6. A sharp-pointed, hard or woody outgrowth on a plant; thorn.
  7. Bookbinding. the back of a book cover or binding, usually indicating the title and author.

Running from the base of the skull to the pelvis it serves as a pillar to support the entire body’s ability to move within physical space, acting as a relational point for the extremities and the trunk. It is the central hub of movement which helps balance and facilitates the transfer of bodyweight for specific activities and general function. It is also a protective structure of the spinal cord. When viewed from the side the spine has three natural curves that give it an “S” shape. The structure of the spine works as a dynamic unit to effectively and efficiently manage all forces (i.e., physical, environmental, and emotional) that the system as a whole, is exposed to. The efficiency of this system is essential for the clear and clean transmission of information between the Spirit’s presence to direct and guide the body through life experiences in a stable and supportive fashion.

The spine is one-way people are able to channel and transmit the highest Truth into and through the human form. As a person awakens, the spine, as well as the body as a whole, becomes increasingly more expressive of the degree of embodiment and stability of the person. This is why it is helpful to focus not only on the understanding of the spine and how it works but to take the time to get to know your body as a whole. Thereby becoming more present within yourself and to better understand what you are capable of as a physical being.
